You may know about our plans to redevelop the front half of the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. Over the next six months we will be designing the 2,800 rooms as well as the layout of every department, public space and waiting area in the new buildings.
CVSF Viewpoint: Sustainable Transport: Wed 7th July 6-8pm at Community Base conference room, Brighton.
This event will be a chance to hear about some of the transport plans and projects in the city, and to input into a refreshed CVSF Viewpoint on Sustainable Transport. If you have an interest in local transport issues please do attend this event as the views collected will feed into the development of the council’s next Local Transport Plan and will be used by CVSF elected reps sitting on the city’s transport partnership.
An action-packed Emergency Services Fun Day is being held in Brighton & Hove on Sunday 25th July.
Between 11.00am and 3.00pm, East Brighton Park will become the centre of local emergency service activity for the FREE "999" event.

Three Playgrounds are due to be re-developed in Whitehawk this year. One in East Brighton Park, One moving from A on the map to B, and the third located either at D (preferred option) or alongside existing one at C.

Thank you very much to everyone who responded to the initial consultation on the Whitehawk Community hub proposals. A range of feedback was received by email, letter, and feedback forms and from the three public meetings and meetings at Whitehawk Primary School.
This is the first of regular updates on the project. Here we summarise comments, queries and key concerns expressed and update you on where we are now.
The permanent exhibition of the proposals remains up at Whitehawk Library and Whitehawk Primary School.
