Work Carried out to restore the Whitehawk Hawk by local residents, their children, the scouts, and other support agencies was seen as too risky for offenders undertaking Unpaid Work to assist with. This is due to Health and Safety issues according to the Probation Service
After two work days with Friends of Sheepcote Valley a working party consisting of local residents, scouts, police, community wardens, and Park Rangers have almost completed the re-
establishment of the Hawk over Whitehawk.
